Fenwold goes Digital, June 2010.
The Practice has bought a new digital x-ray machine for use at the Spilsby branch. This £50,000 investment will allow the Practice to keep abreast of current developments in the veterinary world. Director, Richard Morris said, "This machine will allow us to improve the quality of our equine and small animal x-rays and so improve the standard of our patient care. As the machine does away with the need for chemical development of x-ray films, it will also be of benefit to the environment".
Sally Hessey
On the 2nd February 2010 Fenwold Veterinary Practice tragically lost a very special member of our team. Sally Hessey was a recent graduate from the Royal (Dick) Veterinary School in Edinburgh, as well as being a marine life medic for the British Divers Marine Life Rescue Sally also gained the highest accolade of the Girl Guiding Association, the Queens Award. Despite her all too short time with us at Fenwold, Sally's infectious sense of humour and enthusiasm cemented her as a very popular colleague. As an already competent and caring vet we are in no doubt that she would have gone on to achieve even greater things, and knowing Sally there would have been many more amusing tales along the way... Whether it was an un-cooperative cow, a goose with a floppy neck or a stranded seal pup Sally took them all in her stride. All we can say is that wherever Sally is now she is forever in our thoughts and we are very grateful for the short time we spent together. She will never be forgotten.
